Characteristics:
- Dry silica mass based on high purity microcrystalline quartzite, mixed with a special sintering agent that provides it with higher refractoriness and higher resistance against erosion, penetration and molten metal wettability..
Applicatión:
- Lining of high, low or medium frequency coreless induction furnaces melting spheroidal iron and alloyed iron at high casting temperature.
- Alloyed steel castings and, generally, any cast which requires better performance qualities than CUARSIL IS6 type mixed with boron oxide or boric acid.
